I have so much I could say about the TCS staff and the staff on our charter, I'll space it out over the course of the blog. Every detail has been thought of; oh did I say that already? Well it's true. We have three full time TCS staff that travel with us, looking after the schedule and making sure all the accommodations, connections, transfers, etc. come off without a hitch. There is an advanced staff person at each location. Their job is to make sure all the arrangements are in place for our arrival, the transfer coaches and the tour guide staff. Most times when we arrive at the Hotel our luggage is waiting for us in the room. They provide all the bottled water one could ask for. Even on our long hiking days we arrive about halfway through and there's a pavilion with fresh fruit and little goodies to munch on. At airports where we have to make baggage transfers before commercial flights they have porters to walk with you handling your baggage. It might all seem a bit over the top but there is no way you could keep up the pace this tour demands if these details weren't thought out. Even down to them filling out all the landing forms with your name and passport numbers and hotel information, you just sign it.
